I know I’m late to this conversation, but not too long ago I heard of something called a “Fluffernutter.” Ever heard of these? They’re marshmallow creme and peanut butter sandwiches. Apparently they’re big in New England but some lawmakers want to outlaw them. Beware the Fluff!!

No mocking here, Erika: PB and butter is GOOD. I haven’t had it in years, but when I was little we ate it regularly for awhile.

I just plain don’t like jelly. People always think I’m weird, but I usually make my peanut butter sandwiches with extra butter. It makes it creamier. Go ahead. Mock me. I can take it.

Seriously people. Do your parents go dumpster diving for week-old bread? I’ve been to your house. It’s a nice place. Your folks seem fairly well off. Go buy fresh bread.

Haha. Thats what its like living at home. I have one more month living in a house where my parents buy the stale bread. The only sandwiches I have eaten at home have been grilled cheese, because fresh bread is not necessary. I look forward to eating normal sandwiches soon! All that just because they want to save a couple pennies, and, to me, it just doesn’t add up.

Oh yes, I’m definitely picky about some things! I also am picky about yogurt; I had a not-so-great experience years ago with Breyers, I think, and I only get Yoplait. I only recently switched to the reduced fat or lower calorie Yoplait, but I rarely buy other brands of yogurt.

Tanya, I’m glad I’m not the only one who is picky about certain things. Usually, I’m cool with whatever, but like with yogurt, I will only purchase Dannon fruit on the bottom (hope on top) in peach or strawberry. I rarely consume any yogurt that is not this type. It makes me sound picky, but I am so not picky!
Good for your mom for making you eat the crust. That’s where the nutrients are.

crust is dry and ICKY. my mom always made me eat the crust, but now I don’t!

i like PBJ, but it has to be chunky PB and black raspberry or blackberry jam. Adds a little tang. Oh yes, and plenty of both, but not too much jam.
