I actually LOVED the opening band, Girlyman. I enjoyed their show even more than Dar's, with maybe the exception of "As Cool As I Am", "Iowa", "Teen for God", and "The Babysitter's Here." I guess that's a lot of songs that I especially liked. I bought one of the Girlyman CD's, Lucky Star, and I like it a lot. The last song, "This is Me," is my favorite. It was written in the aftermath of the 2004 election. It's so beautiful and relaxing to listen to! I'm gonna look out for Girlyman and see them again next time. I hope I get to see Wicked, RENT, and HP in November. Rent is a must see! Mark actually rides the bicycle he alludes to in La Vie Boheme! I was there. I actually LOVED the opening band, Girlyman. We both were keeping an eye out for you too. I wasn't as impressed as I thought I might be, honestly. We bought her newest and then one other CD. I listened to the newest today and I am not terribly impressed - just not that fabulous when compared to her other stuff.
