I’m a dancer, and sometimes I get paid to dance.
Now, I know what you’re probably thinking. It’s not THAT kind of dance! I’m involved in a latin american dance group and sometimes when we perform we get a small stipend. I’ve danced at a community center, a library, a theater, and soon a church. It’s pretty much fun, but I guess it doesn’t put me in the big leagues. Also, though I’ve been paid on a number of occasions to play music… weddings, church things, coffeehouses… it doesn’t make me a professional musician. At least I don’t think of myself that way. I’m just a girl with a little voice and a guitar. And maybe someday I’ll go pro.
I was thinking about saying something awesome and inspirational, but then I figured Nah! You already know I think you’re the coolest music chick I know.
