Surreal, but nice

I stayed up way too late to watch Notting Hill last night. That movie is so funny! Remember watching it together and how we filled up like a row and a half and how we laughed. We laughed harder than we’d ever laughed at any movie. I remember; it was that funny.

Now I’m tired.

I hang my jacket up when I LEAVE work. That’s messed up.

Crapweazel! Did I spell this right? My friend Anna says this sometimes. Cracks me up!

Happy 10th of May. My birthday is only 18 days away. Crapweazel.

THE GREAT ADVENTURE: PART IV
more adventures

SYNAPSIS: ACT II
Las Vegas

Scene 1: Third Day, afternoon

After their discovery that the canyon is completely fogged in by the snow, the THREE head into Tusayan (nearby town where snow is pouring down) for lunch and a movie. Lunch is sandwiches, “chillin” (trespassing) in the Quality Inn pool lounge. MIKEY shares a cool rap song about “chillin” at a Holiday Inn in St. Louis.
The movie is at the Grand Canyon Imax. JENNI enjoys it, but the others aren’t too sure. At this point, thwarted by the snow, the THREE agree to part company. The girls head north to Las Vegas, and MIKEY returns to Tempe.

Scene 2: Night Three
On the way back to Vegas, JENNI and LISA stop at Hoover Dam for pictures. That evening, they enjoy a relaxing dinner at Margaritaville.

Scene 3: Fourth Day
It begins with Holy Mass.
After a lazy afternoon of a bad library rental movie (Legally Blonde 2) and laundry, the GIRLS head into town to see the sights. They meander through Bellagio and Caesar’s, then head over to dinner at the Venetian. The food was good, but the kitchen mixes up their order up, so it is very late and they must to leave early and book it to “O.” Which was, as cirque ever is, breathtaking. LISA especially liked all the diving. This show is amazing! There is a pool of water that goes from inches deep to seemingly bottomless.
To cap off the evening: Gelato, Fountains and the Aladdin. JENNI has this thing about the Bellagio fountains. They are like Vegas’ greatest attraction to her.

Scene 4: Fifth Day
Mall—LISA buys this really cute pink scarf and her new favorite necklace and bracelet, and JENNI finds a great deal on a silk dress for Amanda’s wedding.
Red Rock Canyon—“It’s not an adventure unless you turn around twice.” They only turn around once.

That evening, the GIRLS head back to the strip, to see the Excalbiur (LISA’s favorite) and have pizza while watching the dueling pianos at NYNY.

To be continued…
