In the Sheryl Crow song, “Soak up the Sun,” what does she really mean when she says, “I’ve got my 45 on so I can rock on”?
Think about it. She could be talking about her 45 old school vinyl record or her SPF 45 sunblock. What’s your opinion? What’s the true meaning of the lyric? Inquiring minds want to know.
I wish I could soak up the sun in st. louis. It’s been cloudy and cold all week.
I always thought she was talking about a 45″ vinyl record. I suppose it could be the other, but I never thought of it like that. Both make sense.

I used to think it was a record, but now I think it’s sunblock.
