“That will be $1.81 and nine tenths of a cent.”
“Here’s $1.82. And I’d like my tenth of a cent back, please.”
Here’s to the end of being charged by the tenth of a cent for gasoline! I noticed the BP station on Hampton went to this system so I’ve been going there to fill up, and just yesterday, the corner gas station went from $1.81 and 9/10 to $1.81. This morning it was $1.74. I respect them for not trying to charge me an extra 9/10 of a cent. This kind of money does not exist anymore. It’s ridiculous.
Boo! Did you hear the delightful news that I will be seeing you quite often around campus starting in the fall??
