Hey, hey, readers… I have been busy lately and not writing. I will try to work on this. My brother came back today from Colorado. He’s leaving again in a week! Why does everybody leave me???!!!!
Mike gave me this book for Christmas a few years ago. I’d like to share with you some of the wisdom I read in the book he gave me: “It is better to have loved and lost than to have hot needles slowly driven into your eyeballs.”
Speaking of reading, apparantly I am now in a book club. I’m supposed to be reading this book for our meeting sometime later this month, but alas, I haven’t been reading it. I even took it to Kansas City with me and carried it around all day on Saturday, but did I open it? No. I really want to be in the book club and I think it’s going to be a good book. This weekend is for reading. And for wasting time.

I knew one of my bibliophile friends would be asking what book it is. I’m reading "The Master of Petersburg" by J.M. Coetzee. And I have read one page of it since I posted this two days ago.
