This is what my housemates on Fifth Street in Kirksville said about me: “If you hear moans and groans in the morning, it’s Lisa.” We had a whole house and they could hear me groaning about the morning no matter where they were in the house. It’s not that I was that loud… it was a small house. (Yeah, whatever.) After they mentioned it, I tried to stop being quite so vocal. Mornings are generally ok, but sleepy Lisa doesn’t like to get out of her warm bed right away. It’s just something I decide to do every day. Staying in bed would definitely be a far worse alternative.
This morning, when my alarm woke me up at around 7:15, I thought about what I liked about morning: 1) Sunshine, 2) God, and 3) Snooze Buttons. A cloudy morning, or a morning where you have to wake up before sunrise, makes for a severly sucky morning. If I think about God for a moment in the morning, it brings a smile to my face. And if I can’t hit the snooze button… MOAN!!! GROAN!!!
*grin* That’s why I’ve got two alarms set. One for like 2 minutes after the other. It makes sure I’m all awake
Although, generally, I still hit snooze for like 15 extra minutes. Warm covers and bed are hard things to depart from
