When you write, who comprises your target audience?
I remember when I used to write mass e-mails about my journeys in London. I’d tell everybody what I was doing and seeing and how things were going, but usually when I wrote the e-mail, I really had just one person in mind. That was my “target person,” the one person I really wanted to talk to that day. Maybe I would have said different things if my mother had been my target person. I’m pretty sure she never was, though she got the e-mails too. Maybe someday she’ll read this blog. I’ll have to try to keep her in mind when I write.
I’m sure many people will read my blog. Am I really writing to all of you? Or am I imagining an audience of one?
Well, you’ve got at least one reader

i don’t have a target audience. i guess it would be my alter ego, but that’s it.
i write what i feel like writing, for some imaginary alter ego…i suppose.
