Who knew that this blog thing would make people I haven’t heard from in a long time come and find me? It also makes me want to contact my old friends who have blogs. So if you are an old friend of mine, don’t be shy. Come find me and welcome me to the underground world of online journalers.
You know, I have a lot of friends who are writers. Yes, most of my friends write in some way, but I’m the one who actually has a minor in writing. And what do I do? I don’t write.
Well, I write music, and maybe the poetry class I took for my minor helps with that. I also USED TO write a lot of papers in graduate school. I even have my own hardcover copy of my master’s thesis. I like to think that I wrote a book, which I suppose I kind of did. I hope that my master’s thesis is not the closest I come to writing a book in real life. I got the minor in writing because it would be very practical and useful, and because someday something is going to happen, and I am going to write a book about it.
BTW: Jason and I are playing with colors for my blog. Any suggestions? It was black and that was definitely all wrong for me. Now it’s blue… What do you think?

alors, il semble que lisa a trouve le monde des blogs….bienvenue, ma cherie. je crois que tu auras beaucoup d’amis qui veulent lire ce blog tout le temp. c’est bien, a cause de ton desir de garder des amis dans ta vie. moi, je m’attends a lire surtout. mais ne garde pas le bleu: il heurte les yeux. peut-etre le noir avec les lettres en rouge. c’est mieux je crois.

It’s better I think.

Correction: you are one of TWO who have minors in writing. I have an English minor with a writing focus, Ma’am.
